Transverse Flow design. Transverse flow mufflers were originally designed for GM F-Body Camaros and Firebirds. On these vehicles they were mounted behind the rear axle and were parallel to the axle. This muffler can also be used to create custom systems on other vehicles. Single 3" Offset Inlet/ Dual 2.5" Offset Outlets. The inlet and one outlet are on one end of the muffler, and the second outlet is on the opposite end. Reversible design for installation flexibility. High-quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. 100% welded construction for strength. Free Flow design for improved performance. High-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control. Natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. - Un-Notched necks are designed for weld in installation. If clamping, use band clamps 18004 & 18006.
- Alternate muffler with Notched necks is 400499, use band clamps 18325 & 18330

We currently ship within the United States only. Most in-stock orders ship within 1 business day, and standard delivery takes 5-10 business days depending on your location. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and item weight, and a tracking number is emailed to you once your order ships.

Returns & warranty
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery on new, unused, and uninstalled items in their original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be requested before shipping any return. Some items are not eligible for return, including electronics, engine internals, turbo/supercharger kits, special orders, and Sale/Clearance items.
